Gagganaue Induction Cooktop Error Codes and Solutions

There are many Gagganaeu appliances and in some situations these appliances could become faulty. TAS Canada is here to help with that. Please Note that before every repair you should disconnect the appliance from the mains for at least 30 seconds and then reconnect. If a fault display is still present, carry out diagnosis and troubleshooting.

E Sensor button continuously actuated. Solution: Glass ceramic damp in the area of the sensor button OR Clean and dry glass ceramic. Solution: Object on the sensor button OR Remove object See operating instructions (not a fault)

Key symbol Childproof lock. Solution: Childproof lock was inadvertently switched on by the user OR  Press childproof lock button until signal sounds (appliance is operational again). Solution: Automatic childproof lock is switched on OR Switch off automatic childproof lock in the standard settings (c1) See operating instructions (not a fault)
h/H or 0 as soon as appliance switched on Fictitious residual heat display OR  Standard settings were not restored OR  Run customer service test program P2 (reset to the factory settings) OR  Time of the residual heat display has still not completely elapsed Residual heat display goes out by itself after maximum 60 minutes

F3 Cooking sensor fault. Solution: Fault on the cabling OR Check all lines and plug-and-socket connections. Solution: Cooking sensor defective OR Replace cooking sensor. Solution: Cooking sensor module defective  Replace cooking sensor module See operating instructions.

F4 TouchControl disconnected due to overheating. Solution: Touch Control temperature above 120 °C OR  Leave appliance to cool down OR Delete error message by pressing a sensor button See operating instructions (not a fault)

Temperature rise at sensor doesn’t correspond to planned parameters. Deep fryer:. Solution: No oil or not enough (protector switched off) OR Fill up with oil and switch the protector on. Solution: Heater defective  Check the heater and replace it if necessary. Solution: No power supply provided to heater (cable or electronics defective)  Check power supply and, if necessary, repair the cable or replace the electronics. Solution: Sensor defective or not properly fixed  Check the sensor and replace it if necessary. Solution: Regulator defective OR Check the regulator and replace it if necessary Teppan Yaki:. Solution: Heater defective OR Check the heater and replace it if necessary. Solution: No power supply provided to heater (cable or electronics defective) OR Check power supply and, if necessary, repair the cable or replace the electronics. F7 Frying sensor fault. Solution: Frying sensor temperature too high OR Leave frying sensor cooking zone to cool down. Solution: Fault on the cabling OR Check all lines and plug-and-socket connections. Solution: Frying sensor defective  Replace frying sensor cooking zone. Solution: Frying sensor module defective OR Replace frying sensor module See operating instructions

Operating time limit. Solution: Cooking zone was automatically switched off after some time by the operating time limit Cooking zone can be operated again immediately Time depends on the selected cooking setting (1 to 10 hours without change to setting) See operating instructions (not a fault)

Piezo Control fault. Solution: Fault in data transmission between Piezo Panel and control/display module OR Check all lines and plug-and-socket connections OR Replace Piezo Panel OR Replace control/display module.

Internal Touch Control fault. Solution: Not relevant for eliminating fault OR Replace electronics module XY corresponds to the digit 00 to 99 OR Note following special cases!

Er21 and signal Control module overheating. Solution: Cooking zones next to the control module on for a long time and at high power OR Leave appliance to cool down OR Press Sensor button to switch off acoustic signal

Er22 Sensor button fault. Solution: Electrical connection between two sensor buttons OR Remove electronics module and test all sensor buttons (visual inspection). Reinstall electronics module correctly. Solution: Sensor button defective OR If there is still a fault, replace electronics module

Er25 Defective electronics connection. Solution: Defective electronics connection OR Check connections Er26 Relay board fault 1. Ribbon cable badly connected between Touch control and relay board OR Check whether ribbon cable is straight and firmly connected 2. Relay board defective OR Completely replace Touch Control

Er32 Wrong software version. Solution: Incorrect spare part was used A 4i module was installed instead of a 2i module  Install correct module.

Er38 Hall sensor fault with Twist/Tip Pad. Solution: Operating button incorrectly positioned OR Position operating button correctly. Solution: Tip Pad incorrectly operated (Tip Pad rotary handle moved like Twist Pad rotary handle) OR Operate Tip Pad correctly (tilt function) see operating instructions (not a fault). Solution: Twist/Tip Pad defective OR Disconnect appliance from power supply for 30 seconds and switch on again OR If fault still not eliminated, replace Twist/Tip Pad. Solution: Connection between Twist/Tip Pad and ELIN faulty OR Check connection. Solution: ELIN (24V power supply unit) defective OR Replace ELIN Er42 Power supply fault. Solution: Voltage defective OR Check power supply connection OR Replace electronics module

U240, U400 Overvoltage. Solution: Overvoltage on the electronics module due to incorrect connection or wiring fault Immediately disconnect appliance from the power supply OR Check power supply connection and wiring OR
No function and display when main switch actuated Safety disconnection due to overvoltage. Solution: Overvoltage on the electronics module due to incorrect connection or wiring fault Immediately disconnect appliance from the power supply OR Check power supply connection and wiring Safety disconnection protects the appliance if there is an incorrect connection.

U1 Mains voltage below 150 V or above 275 V. Solution: Incorrect connection or wiring fault Immediately disconnect appliance from the power supply OR Check power supply connection and wiring. Solution: Undervoltage or overvoltage of the power supply OR Measure mains voltage OR Check control connections between (ELIN-ELIN and Touch Control-ELIN) according to electrical diagram If this fault occurs, all cooking zones are switched off Error message goes out automatically when the mains voltage is within the permitted range again Indicated on the display of the induction cooking zones only

U2 Inductor temperature fault (inductor-NTC). Solution: NTC supplies measured values which do not correspond with the expected temperature profile during operation of the inductor OR Check NTC OR Check inductor and its connections. Solution: Overtemperature of the inductor OR Check installation and ventilation of the appliance If overtemperature occurs, safety disconnection of the inductor to protect the appliance

ELIN temperature fault (ELIN-NTC). Solution: Overtemperature of the ELIN (IGBT) OR Leave appliance to cool down and implement reset If overtemperature occurs, safety disconnection of the ELIN to protect the appliance.

Cooking sensor temperature fault (cooking sensor NTC). Solution: Pan too large OR Use correct pan. Solution: Pan is too near the cooking sensor OR Place pan centrally on the cooking zone. Solution: Cooking sensor defective OR Leave appliance to cool down. If there is still a fault, replace cooking sensor

LIN communication fault. Solution: Defective cabling (LIN bus) OR Check line and plug-and-socket connections between the electronic components

ELIN communication fault. Solution: Defective cabling (16-wire cable) OR Check line and plug-and-socket connection between ELINs OR Rebend pins on the plug and socket connections

(alternating) Touch Control switches back due to overheating. Solution: Touch Control temperature above 100 °C OR Cooking zone with heat setting higher than 7 is too hot.
